Circumstances:
The crew was performing a gunnery exercise out from Kings Point Naval Operation Base, north of Somerset Village, Bermuda. While cruising at an altitude of 1,000 feet, the aircraft entered an uncontrolled descent and crashed in a 60° angle into the sea some 5 km northwest of Hamilton. All eight crew members were killed.

Circumstances:
The crew departed RAF Skellingthorpe at 1907LT on a cross country exercise. Unable to return to base, the crew diverted to RAF Crosby on Eden (Carlisle). On approach at night, the pilot encountered problems and initiated a go around procedure. Doing so, the airspeed dropped too low, causing the airplane to stall and to crash in a field. It slid for about 800 metres before coming to rest against a barn, bursting into flames. Five crew members were killed and two others were seriously injured. The barn was destroyed by fire and several animals were killed.

While on a training flight on behalf of the 113th Reconnaissance Squadron, the crew encountered engine problems and the captain decided to return to Yarmouth Airport. On descent, the twin engine airplane went out of control and crashed into trees, bursting into flames, few km from Yarmouth. The airplane was destroyed by impact forces and a post crash fire and all five crew members were killed.

The crew departed Nanyuki Airfield at 1135LT on a cross country navigation exercise. Few minutes after takeoff, the pilot encountered an unexpected situation and was forced to return. The approach was completed in bumpy and gusty conditions. While the airplane was descending at about 100 feet, there was a high wind blowing. It struck the ground with the starboard wing-tip first and cartwheeled, causing both engines to be torn out. All four crew members were injured, the pilot seriously. He later died from injuries sustained.

The airplane departed Barking Sands Airfield on a training flight leading a mock attack against Pearl Harbor on Oahu. Shortly after takeoff, the airplane went out of control and crashed into the sea about 3 km offshore. All 10 occupants were killed, among them Major Johnathan E. Coxwell, Commanding Officer of the 372nd Bombardment Squadron.
