The single engine airplane departed Nashua Airport, New Hampshire, on December 13 on a flight to Nuuk, Greenland, with an intermediate stop in Goose Bay. Due to poor weather conditions at destination, the pilot diverted to Seven Islands Airport, Quebec, where the couple passed the overnight. On the morning of December 14, the airplane departed Seven Islands Airport at 0820LT bound for Goose Bay. On final approach to runway 08 at Goose Bay-Happy Valley Airport, the pilot was cleared to land when the airplane impacted the ground and crashed 5 km short of runway. Both occupants were seriously injured. The next day, the pilot aged 52 died from injuries sustained.

The twin engine airplane departed Denton Enterprise Airport runway 36 at 1459LT and continued to the west at an altitude of 2,000 feet. Eight minutes later, the pilot initiated a left hand circuit to land at Decatur Airport. While descending on final, the speed decreased and the airplane crashed nearby a wooded area located 6 km short of runway 35. The aircraft was destroyed and the pilot, sole on board, was killed.

The single engine airplane landed last October at Dade-Collier Airport, in the center of the Everglades National Park, following a flight from Sancti Spíritus, Cuba. The pilot defected Cuba and landed safely in the US. On November 14, in unclear circumstances, maybe while being transferred to Opa Locka Airport, the airplane crashed in a marshy area located 25 km west of Opa Locka Airport. Both occupants were uninjured and the aircraft was damaged beyond repair.

The single engine airplane departed Lincoln on a flight to North Platte, Nebraska. While approaching North Platte-Lee Bird Airport Runway 30 in poor weather conditions, the aircraft went out of control and crashed on the shore of a small lake, bursting into flames. The aircraft was destroyed by impact forces and a post crash fire and the wreckage was found 6 km from the runway threshold. Both occupants were killed. At the time of the accident, visibility was limited due to freezing rain.

Inbound from Nashville-John C. Tune Airport, the twin engine airplane crashed in a wooded area located short of runway 36 at Slidell Airport, bursting into flames. The pilot, sole on board, was seriously injured.

While descending to Farmingdale-Republic Airport, following a flight from Burlington, the twin engine airplane crashed in the Beth Moses Cemetery located two km east of the airport. Both occupants escaped with minor injuries and the aircraft was damaged beyond repair.

The airplane departed Palenque Airport, Chiapas, on a private flight to Puerto Limón, Costa Rica. While on approach at an altitude of about 2,000 feet at night, the airplane entered an uncontrolled descent and crashed into the sea some 28 km southeast of the destination airport. The accident occurred three minutes prior to ETA. Few debris and two dead bodies were found two days later. On board were the German businessman Rainer Schaller, founder of the fitness chain 'McFit', his wife, two children and a friend.

The twin engine airplane departed Columbus-John Glenn (Port Columbus) Airport at 0640LT on a 30-minutes flight to Parkersburg, West Virginia. Approaching Parkersburg-Mid-Ohio Valley Airport Runway 21 at night, the airplane entered an uncontrolled descent and crashed in a vertical attitude in a parking lot located southeast of Marietta, bursting into flames. The wreckage was found about 5 km short of runway 21. Both occupants were killed.

The single engine airplane departed Albuquerque-Double Eagle II Airport on a private flight. It crashed in unknown circumstances north of Seligman shortly before noon. Both occupants were killed.

On approach to Kissimmee-Gateway Airport in marginal weather conditions, the pilot lost control of the airplane that crashed in a marshy and wooded area located about 10 km short of runway 33. All three occupants were injured, one seriously.
