Circumstances:
The four engine airplane departed Trondheim-Værnes Airport in marginal weather conditions. After takeoff, the heavily loaded Condor failed to gain sufficient height and drifted to the southwest due to strong north wind. The pilot was unable to turn to the right and the heavy wind forced the plane to the ground on the other side of the river. All seven crew members were killed.

While engaged in a maritime patrol flight over the North Atlantic Ocean, the four engine airplane was shot down by the pilots of a USAAF P.38 and a Curtiss P-40 and crashed into the sea some 15 km west of Reykjavik. All six crew members were killed.

Circumstances:
The crew departed Trondheim-Værnes Airport at 0809LT on a maritime patrol flight off the east coast of Iceland. Following a uneventful mission of nine hours and 44 minutes, the crew approaching Trondheim Airport when he encountered technical problems with the flaps. The airplane stalled and crashed into the sea few hundred metres from the runway threshold. All six crew members were rescued and the airplane sank and was lost.

The airplane continued to the south until it impacted the slope of a mountain located in the Soba Valley. The wreckage was found at an altitude of 1,000 metres. All six crew members were killed.
