Circumstances:
En route, the crew encountered problems with the right engine that failed. The Captain reduced his altitude in an attempt to make an emergency landing 30 km southeast of Maksatikha. While the manoeuvre was successfully completed and no one was injured, the aircraft was damaged beyond repair.
Probable cause:
Fuel flow system failure.

Circumstances:
Just after rotation from Molotov Airport, the aircraft stalled and crashed. It veered off runway, hit a parked Lisunov LI-2 registered CCCP-L3962 and came to rest in a wooded hangar. All three crew members were killed while all seven passengers were seriously injured.
Probable cause:
The pilot attempted to take off from a wrong runway and the rotation was completed after a take-off roll of 340 meters only. Due to an insufficient speed, the aircraft stalled shortly after take off.

After completing a supply mission to soldiers based behind the enemy lines, the crew was returning to his base when at 2245, he was locked by the German antiaircraft searchlights. Nine minutes later, the aircraft was shot down by German antiaircraft fire, dove into the ground and crashed, killing all 7 crew members.

Shot down by German AA fire.

The airplane was engaged in a supply mission to Dubnitskoe, 60 km west of Yelsk, carrying five passengers, six crew members and a load of 660 kg of ammunition and printing equipment. The approach to the landing area was initiated at night. On short final, at a height of 20-25 metres, the pilot made a sharp turn to the left when the airplane stalled and crashed, bursting into flames. All 11 occupants were killed.

En route from Moscow to Krasnodar, after passing over the hilly area of Kamenka, the crew failed to realize his altitude was insufficient. As the attention of the crew was focused on a faulty thermometer, he led the airplane descending until both propellers impacted the ground, causing the airplane to crash land in a pasture, bursting into flames. There were no casualties but the airplane was destroyed by fire.
Probable cause:
The decision of the crew to continue the flight at an unsafe altitude until the airplane contacted ground.

En route from Astrakhan to Chkalovsk, the crew encountered below minima weather conditions due to snowfalls. In poor visibility, the pilot decided to divert to Sol-Iletsk Airport but on final, the airplane impacted a snow covered hill located between Boyevaya Gora and Saratovka. All occupants survived the crash but nine of them froze to death within few hours.

Controlled flight into terrain.
