Circumstances:
The crew was performing a local training flight out from Blida Airfield. While cruising at an altitude of 3,000 feet, the airplane suffered an engine failure, entered an uncontrolled descent and crashed in Chiffa, 8 km west of Blida. All four crew members were killed.

While taking off from Blida Airfield, the tyre on the right main gear burst. After takeoff, the captain decided to return for a safe landing. The airplane landed on its belly and slid for few dozen metres before coming to rest. All nine occupants escaped unhurt.

The twin engine airplane departed Blida Airport at 2359LT on a night maritime patrol flight. Immediately after liftoff, while climbing, the right engine caught fire. The pilot lost control of the airplane that crashed inverted 900 metres past the runway end, bursting into flames. All four crew members were killed.
