Circumstances:
During the takeoff roll on runway 27 at Keperveyem Airport, the four engine aircraft deviated to the left, went out of control and veered off runway. It lost its undercarriage and slid before coming to rest 120 metres to the left of the runway and after a course of 880 metres. All 8 occupants escaped uninjured while the aircraft was damaged beyond economical repair.
Probable cause:
Loss of control during takeoff following the failure of the nosewheel steering system due to the malfunction of the VG15-2S switch. The captain failed to check the nosewheel steering system prior to takeoff, which was considered as a contributing factor.

Circumstances:
Less than one minute after takeoff from Khabarovsk-Maly airport, while climbing to a height of 21 metres at a speed of 155 k /h, the right door opened and detached. It struck the right propeller, causing the right engine to fail. The crew lost control of the aircraft that stalled and crashed in a garden located less than one km from the airport, bursting into flames. The aircraft was destroyed by a post crash fire and all three occupants were seriously injured, among them Alexander Perkash, Director of the company.
Probable cause:
It was determined that the accident was the consequence of the accidental opening and detachment of the right door during initial climb. The following findings were identified:
- Poor flight preparation,
- The landing gear were still down, increasing drag,
- The distance between the airplane and the ground was insufficient to expect a stall recovery,
- Poor conception of the door lock mechanism,
- The crew failed to check that the door was properly locked prior to departure.

The crew started the takeoff procedure from a snow covered runway with a tailwind component. The aircraft lifted off at the end of the runway then collided with two airport vehicles. It nosed down and crashed on a car workshop located near the airport, bursting into flames. All nine occupants were killed.
Probable cause:
It was determined that the accident was the consequence of a poor flight preparation on part of the crew who took wrong decisions as well as airport authorities. The following findings were reported:
- The runway was contaminated with wet snow and whose thickness exceeded the permissible limit,
- The crew decided to takeoff with a tailwind of 21 km/h, which made the runway distance insufficient given the flight conditions,
- The runway was not properly cleared of snow,
- The crew failed to abandon the takeoff procedure in a timely manner.

The aircraft was completing flight SU811 from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk to Blagoveshchensk with an intermediate stop in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, carrying 27 passengers and five crew members. It departed Komsomolsk-on-Amur Airport at 1456LT for the second leg of the trip and was cleared to climb to 5'200 meters. In the same time, two Tupolev TU-16K of the Soviet Air Force departed Zavitinsk Air Base on a weather reconnaissance mission. Registered CCCP-07034 and CCCP-07514, both military airplanes were carrying a crew of six. While cruising at an altitude of 5,220 meters in good weather conditions, the AN-24 and the TU-16 registered CCCP-07514 collided. They entered an uncontrolled descent and crashed in an uninhabited area located about 70 km east of Zavitinsk. Both aircraft were totally destroyed. All six crew members of the TU-16 were killed as well as 31 occupants on board the AN-24. Three days after the accident, a man aged 20 who was seating in the AN-24 was found slightly injured in the taiga.
Probable cause:
It was determined that the collision was the consequence of a poor organization and management of flights in the area of the Zavitinsk and the non-compliance of the published procedures. The collision was made possible by a lack of interaction, coordination and communication between the civilian and military air controllers.

The airplane was engaged in a flight where the crew was supposed to test various equipments, probably military ones. According to officials, in poor weather conditions, the airplane deviated from the departure climb course, collided with trees and crashed on a hilly terrain. The wreckage was found in snow about a week later. All nine occupants have been killed.
Probable cause:
Due to the extreme secret character of the mission, no information were published about the circumstances and the causes of the accident. All information related to this tragedy were immediately classified by the Soviet Authorities.

Few minutes after takeoff from Briakan, weather conditions deteriorated and the crew, instead of returning to Briakan, decided to continue. In low clouds, the airplane deviated from the prescribed flight path by 17 km to the right when, at a height of 600 meters, the airplane stuck tree tops and crashed on the slope of a mountain (1,220 metres) located near Gorny, some 65 km northwest of Khurba Airport. SAR arrived on scene one day later. A pilot was killed while all 11 other occupants were injured. The aircraft was destroyed by a post crash fire.
Probable cause:
Poor flight preparation on part of the flying crew who departed Briakan without efficient information regarding weather forecast. Also, the crew failed to return to his departure point when weather conditions worsened.

The crew of the DC-3, among them Head of Staff Lisikov, was taking part to a SAR mission after a Tupolev ANT-37bis (TB-3) registered CCCP-N037 and named 'Rodina' was missing in the region of Komsomolsk-on-Amur. While cruising in formation with another TB-3, the pilot made a mistake, causing the DC-3 to struck the top of the empennage of the TB-3. The DC-3 entered an uncontrolled descent and crashed. All five occupants were killed. The fate of the other aircraft is unknown.

The pilot departed Khabarovsk on a mail flight to Komsomolsk-on-Amur with an intermediate stop in Troitskoye. On the second leg, he encountered unfavorable winds and attempted an emergency landing when the airplane crashed in a swampy area. As the airplane failed to arrive at destination, SAR operations were initiated but eventually suspended few days later as no trace of the aircraft was found. On 13 April 1938, the wreckage was found by hunters some 52 km from the Khungari River estuary.
Probable cause:
It is believed that the pilot encountered unfavorable winds and attempted an emergency landing when the airplane crash landed in a swampy area. The pilot apparently survived the accident but it is possible that he was killed by hunters.
