Circumstances:
The airplane departed Aberdeen-Dyce Airport on a convoy mission. While returning to base in darkness, the crew encountered poor weather conditions. Unable to locate the airfield, he diverted to Wick when the airplane crashed in unknown circumstances into the sea off Lerwick. All three crew members were killed.

The airplane departed Aberdeen-Dyce Airport on a mission to Norway to localize the ship 'Admiral Scheer'. Approaching Kristiansand, it was shot down by enemy fire and crashed near Holum. All three crew members were killed.

Circumstances:
The crew was completing a local training flight at Aberdeen-Dyce Airport. After touchdown, the aircraft was unable to stop within the remaining distance. It overran, lost its undercarriage and came to rest. Both pilots escaped uninjured and the aircraft was damaged beyond repair.
Probable cause:
Failure of the braking systems upon landing.
