Circumstances:
Following an uneventful flight from Krasnoyarsk, the crew started the approach to Dikson by night and marginal weather conditions. On short final, the aircraft was too high and landed too far down the runway with a tailwind component and at an excessive speed. Unable to stop within the remaining distance available, the aircraft overran, went through an embankment at a speed of 115 km/h and eventually came to rest in a ravine. All 35 occupants were rescued, among them 8 were injured. The aircraft was damaged beyond repair.
Probable cause:
Wrong approach configuration on part of the crew. The following contributing factors were reported:
- Excessive speed upon landing,
- Tailwind component,
- Lack of visibility,
- Snow squalls.

Probable cause:
The decision of the crew to continue under VFR mode in IMC conditions (visibility below minimums). ATC cleared the crew to takeoff despite he was unaware of the actual weather conditions en route.

As the airplane failed to arrive at destination, SAR operations were initiated but eventually abandoned after few days as no trace of the aircraft nor the four occupant was found. The wreckage was found on 18 June 1986 in an isolated area. It was determined that the aircraft struck tree tops in a 30° nose-down angle and crashed in a wooded area.

Circumstances:
After takeoff from Baykit, the single engine encountered serious difficulties to gain height and the engine lost power. The crew attempted to return to the airport but was eventually forced to make an emergency landing in an open field located few hundred meters past the runway end. All three occupants escaped with minor injuries while the aircraft was damaged beyond repair.
Probable cause:
It was determined that the aircraft was overloaded. The weight and balance sheet was incorrect (1,000 kilos instead of 1,300 kilos) and the total weight of the aircraft was 240 kilos above the MTOW. Also, the CofG was well beyond the aft limit.
