Circumstances:
The airplane departed RAF Watton at 0840LT on a bombing mission over Aalborg. Approaching the target area, it was shot down by enemy fire and crashed near the Aalborg Airport. All three crew members were killed.

During the takeoff roll at Ismailia Airport, a tyre burst. The airplane swerved on runway, lost its undercarriage and came to rest, bursting into flames. There were no casualties but the aircraft was destroyed by fire.
Probable cause:
Loss of control during takeoff following a tyre burst.

The airplane departed RAF Mildenhall at 2146LT on August 11 on a bombing mission over Gelsenkirchen. While returning at night and making an approach wide of the flarepath, the bomber collided with a radio mast and crashed at Beck Row. All six crew members were killed.

The pilot initiated a sharp turn when the aircraft stalled and crashed. The aircraft was destroyed and the pilot was killed.
