Circumstances:
The single engine airplane departed Bhubaneswar-Biju Patnaik Airport at 1220LT on a schedule service to Rourkela, carrying four passengers and two pilots. Following an uneventful flight at an altitude of 8,000 feet, the crew started the descent to Rourkela when he encountered an unexpected situation and declared an emergency at 1314LT. Five minutes later, the pilot attempted an emergency landing when the airplane crash landed in a pasture located 10 km south of Rourkela. All six occupants were injured.

After landing on runway 10 at Bhadrapur Airport, the airplane was unable to stop within the remaining distance (runway 10 is 1,500 metres long). It overran and came to rest in a creek located 170 metres past the runway end, coming to rest against an embankment. All 55 occupants were rescued, among them seven were injured including the copilot. The cockpit was severely damaged and the fuselage was bent.

The three engine airplane departed Ankara-Esenboğa at 2017LT on a charter flight to Tripoli. At 2031LT, while cruising at an altitude of 32,000 feet, the crew sent a PAN PAN PAN message, reporting a malfunction of the electric system. The crew was cleared to return to Ankara and initiated a turn to the left. Two minutes later, the crew declared an emergency. Radio contact between ATC and crew was difficult then the airplane entered an uncontrolled descent and crashed in an open field located near the village of Kesikkavak, west of Haymana. The airplane was destroyed and all eight occupants were killed, among them General Mohammed Ali Ahmed Al-Haddad, Chief of Staff of the Libyan Armed Forces. He was returning to Libya following a meeting with Yaşar Güler, Turkish Minister of National Defense.

The four engine airplane departed Ivanovo-Severny AFB on a post maintenance test flight, carrying three engineers and five crew members. Few minutes after departure from runway 28, the airplane went out of control and suffered an in-flight break up before crashing into the Uvod'skoye Reservoir off the village of Ivankovo, some 15 km northwest of Ivanovo-Severny AFB. All eight occupants were killed. Named 'Vasiliy Semenenko', the airplane was the last Antonov AN-22 Antei in flying conditions.

About 30 minutes into the flight, while cruising at an altitude of 24,000 feet in good weather conditions, the airplane partially disintegrated in the air then entered an uncontrolled descent and crashed in a uninhabited area located south of Sighnaghi, bursting into flames. Debris scattered on a wide area and all 20 occupants were killed.

The airplane departed Dubai-Al Maktoum International Airport on a cargo service to Hong Kong on behalf of Emirates Sky Cargo (flight EK9788) with four crew members on board. After landing on runway 07L at Hong Kong-Chek Lap Kok Airport, the crew initiated the braking procedure. While decelerating to a speed of about 100 knots, the airplane veered off runway to the left, struck a ground service vehicle located on the perimeter road, went through the perimeter fence and plunged into the sea at a speed of 60 knots, coming to rest broken in two. All four crew members were rescued while both employees in the ground vehicle were killed. Preliminary data suggest that the engine n°4 was still accelerating to 106% N1 forward thrust after all selected thrust reversers were stowed. Number 1, 2 and 3 engine thrust levers were closed with reverse thrust levers selected to maximum while the n°4 engine reverse thrust lever was fully forward.

The airplane departed Khabarovsk on a schedule service to Tynda (flight 2G/AGU2311) with an intermediate stop in Blagoveshchensk, carrying 42 passengers (including five children) and six passengers. It departed Ignatyevo Airport at 1121LT on the second leg to Tynda. While descending to Tynda Airport, it appears that the crew encountered marginal weather conditions with reduced visibility due to low ceiling. On approach, the airplane impacted trees and crashed in a wooded area located about 15 km from the airport. The airplane was destroyed and all 48 occupants were killed. Apparently, the crew was attempting a second approach when the accident occurred. At the time of the accident, weather conditions were as follow: light rain, few CB's at 210 metres and cloudy at 600 metres.
