The crew landed on runway 05 at Benin City Airport in heavy rain falls. After landing, the crew initiated the breaking procedure but the airplane was unable to stop within the remaining distance and overran. While contacting soft ground, the undercarriage were torn off and the airplane slid for about 300 metres before coming to rest in a muddy field. All 68 occupants disembarked and there were no casualties.

While approaching Warri Airport runway 06 following an uneventful flight from Benin City, the twin engine aircraft entered an uncontrolled descent and crashed near a refinery located near Jeddo, about 11 km west of the airport. All six occupants were killed, among them five Nigerian Army Officers.

While in cruising altitude, the twin engine airplane entered a dive and crashed in flames in a wooded area located in the region of Okitipupa. The pilot, sole on board, was killed. It is believed that the airplane caught fire in flight for unknown reasons.
