Bombing

The airplane departed RAF Luqa to attack a German vessel off the Tunisian coast. The crew had just bombed the ship from the sea level when the airplane collided with the mast of the ship and crashed into the sea. All three crew members were killed.

The crew departed RAF Skellingthorpe at 1642LT to attack the Blohm & Voss Plant in Hamburg. It failed to return to base and is believed to have crashed somewhere in the North Sea. Lost without trace.

The airplane departed RAF Luqa on a combat mission off the Maltese coast. It was shot down by a Me.110 and crashed into the sea off Valetta. Two crew members were killed and a third was rescued.

The bomber crashed in unknown circumstances in Brie-Comte-Robert, killing the entire crew.

The airplane departed Soesterberg AFB on an operation to England. It was shot down by a Beaufighter and crashed in Nuneaton. All four crew members became PoW, among them one was injured.

The airplane departed RAF Skellingthorpe at 1649LT on a gardening operation. While returning to base in the late evening, it strayed from track and ran out of fuel. The crew attempted an emergency landing when the airplane crashed one mile west of Brampton. Two crew members were killed and two others were seriously injured. Two days later, one of the survivor died from injuries sustained.

The airplane departed RAF Binbrook at 1803LT on an operation to Wilhelmshaven. While returning to base in the late evening, it suffered an engine failure, lost altitude and crashed one mile east of Brumby, Scunthorpe. Four crew members were killed and two others were injured.
