Eure-et-Loir

The crew was performing a training flight when the single engine aircraft crashed for unknown reasons in a field near the airport of Chartres-Champhol. While both occupants were injured, the aircraft was destroyed.

En route, the crew encountered engine problems and the captain decided to make an emergency landing in an open field located in Moulhard, some 40 km southwest of Chartres. After touchdown, the left main gear hit a boundary marker and was torn off. The aircraft came to rest in a small ditch and was damaged beyond repair. All four crew members were unhurt.

The crew was performing a night training flight out from Chartres Airport. In unknown circumstances, the single engine aircraft went out of control and crashed in an open field located in Senainville, some 10 km northeast of the airport. The aircraft was destroyed, a pilot was slightly injured and the second was unhurt.

The crew was performing a training flight over the area of Chartres, Eure-et-Loir. While cruising at an altitude of 3,800 metres, the airplane entered a cloudy area and encountered icing conditions. Shortly later, both engines misfired and the aircraft lost height. He then spiraled into the ground and during the fall, one of the crew member bailed out and was later found uninjured. The aircraft crashed in a field and was totally destroyed. All four other occupants were killed.

The crew was engaged in a training mission on behalf of the 2nd squadron of the 22nd regiment based in Chartres. While taxiing, the LeO 20 went out of control and collided with two parked Nieuport NiD 629 registered 705 and 713. The impact caused severe damages and a fire erupted. All four occupants evacuated safely and all three aircraft were destroyed by fire.

The crew was performing a local training flight on behalf of the 1st squadron of the 22nd regiment based in Chartres. Shortly after takeoff, while climbing to a height of 50 metres, the left engine lost power. The pilot decided to return for an emergency landing and initiated a left downwind turn to reach the airfield. While flying at a height of 10 metres, the aircraft's speed dropped. It stalled and impacted the ground some 250 metres short of runway. Both main landing gears were torn off and the left main fuel tank exploded. Three crew members were seriously injured and the fourth occupant was killed. The following day, two of the three survivors died from their injuries.

The aircraft lost height and crashed onto two houses located near the airport. A fuel tank exploded and ground damages were important. Two crew members and one people on the ground were killed. Two other crew members were seriously injured.

The crew was engaged in a night flight to Reims. Shortly after takeoff from Chartres Airport, while in initial climb, the pilot encountered technical problems. The airplane lost height, impacted the roof of a house and crashed on the ground. Two crew members were killed and two others were seriously injured.

The crew departed Istres on a flight to Chartres with an intermediate stop in Rochefort. While approaching Chartres from the northwest at night, the crew encountered poor visibility due to foggy conditions. While attempting an emergency landing, the airplane crashed in an open field located in Digny, some 30 km northwest of Chartres. All four crew members escaped with minor injuries and the aircraft was damaged beyond repair.

During the takeoff roll at Chartres Airport, the pilot lost control of the airplane that veered off runway and came to rest against a hangar. All four crew members evacuated safely while the airplane was damaged beyond repair.
