Circumstances:
The crew was completing a training mission out of Summerside Airport. Upon landing, the airplane went out of control, veered off runway and collided with a parked Nordair Lockheed L-188 Electra registered CF-NAZ. Both aircraft were destroyed and three crew members were killed. The Electra was empty at the time of the accident. It is believed that the loss of control was the consequence of landing gear problems.

Circumstances:
The crew was performing a local test flight when, upon landing, the aircraft bounced after attempting an overshoot. The pilot-in-command decided to attempt a go around and raised the undercarriage when the aircraft stalled and crashed in flames. Eight crew members were injured while four others were killed.

Circumstances:
The crew left Summerside on a training flight to Goose Bay. While approach Goose Bay Airport, the crew circled the tower and radioed his intent to return to Summerside. As the aircraft failed to return to its home base, SAR operations were conducted and the wreckage was found five days later, on May 19, in an isolated area located about 65 km north of Saint-Augustin. The aircraft was destroyed and all four crew members were killed.

Circumstances:
The crew departed Summerside on a routine navigation exercise. The airplane failed to return to base on completion of exercise, and according to witnesses, it began to climb from a low altitude when the port wing came away. The airplane crashed into the sea some 800 metres offshore. All four crew members were killed.

Probable cause:
Evidence does not disclose cause of a structural failure. It discloses both Sgt King & Thompson & pilot were inclined to be reckless. Investigation does not disclose any sign of engine trouble.
