Circumstances:
En route from Birżebbuġa to Abukir, while flying along the Libyan coast, the seaplane was shot down by a German fighter and crash landed into the sea near RAF Apollonia. All 12 crew members were rescued, some were injured. A day later, one died from injuries sustained.

The floatplane departed RAF Mount Batten on a maritime patrol flight with a crew of 15 on board. Shortly after liftoff, while climbing, it went out of control and crashed into the sea some 200 yards offshore. Eleven crew members were killed and four others were rescued.

The floatplane and its crew was dropping depth charges when it was shot down by enemy fire coming from the Italian submarine named 'Delfino'. It went out of control and crashed into the sea some 22 km off the Libyan coast. Four crew members were rescued and eight others were killed.

The floatplane departed RAF Mount Batten at 2100LT on a maritime patrol flight. While returning to base at night, the airplane overshot the flare path and crashed on rocks at Milford Haven. Three pilots were seriously injured while nine other crew members were slightly injured. The aircraft was destroyed. Two pilots later died from injuries sustained. All crew were from the Royal Australian Air Force.

Circumstances:
The floatplane departed Angle Bay at noon on a maritime patrol flight over an area located some 100 miles west of Brest. In the late evening, the crew was supposed to return to base. While cruising at an altitude of 1,000 feet, the crew was unable to locate Angle Bay due to the lack of visibility caused by the logical blackout. Short of fuel, the crew attempted to ditch the airplane that impacted the water surface and crashed in the Irish Sea. Six crew members were killed and five others took place in a dinghy and were later rescued.

Following an escort duty mission over the Atlantic Ocean, the floatplane was returning to its base in Reykjavik. The crew encountered poor weather conditions with heavy rain falls and low ceiling. In limited visibility, the airplane impacted the slope of Mt Fagradalsfjall located about 30 km southwest of Reykjavik Airport and was destroyed upon impact. Three crew members were killed and 10 others were injured.
