The aircraft entered the Venezuelan airspace without flight plan and authorisation. While flying over the Paraguaña Peninsula at low altitude, the crew was forced to land when control was lost. The aircraft crashed in shallow water few meters offshore, lost its tail and both wings. Both pilots were killed.

Apparently following technical issues, the pilot was forced to attempt an emergency landing at Dabajuro Airport. The twin engine aircraft crash landed near the runway and struck two motorcyclists. One of them was killed while the second was injured. The airplane was damaged beyond repair and the pilot was uninjured.

Twin engine aircraft was performing a cargo flight from Valera-Dr. Antonio Nicolás Briceño Airport to Punto Fijo-Josefa Camejo Airport with two crew and one passenger on board. Cargo was consisting of valuables. On approach to Punto Fijo, crew encountered technical problems and elected to ditch the aircraft off the Amuay refinery. All three occupants were rescued while the aircraft sunk.

While flying between Coro and Punto Fijo, the pilot decided to perform an emergency landing on a highway due to technical problem. The aircraft overturned on landing and crashed. All occupants were injured and the aircraft was destroyed.

After landing on runway 09, the commuter aircraft left the runway on its right and collided with the fire station located between both runways at Caracas-Simon Bolivar international airport. Four passengers were killed, 18 other occupants were injured and the aircraft was destroyed. The runway was wet at the time of the accident and a thunderstorm was approaching Caracas.

Circumstances:
The twin engine aircraft was completing a charter flight from Oranjestad to Punto Fijo with seven passengers and one pilot on board. While descending to Punto Fijo-Josefa Camejo Airport, the pilot informed ATC about the failure of the left engine. Shortly later, the left engine caught fire and detached, causing a part of the left wing to be torn off. Out of control, the aircraft crashed in the sea about 29,5 km north of Punto Fijo Airport. All eight occupants were killed.
Probable cause:
Failure of the left engine as a result of a cracked exhaust manifold.
