En route from Panama City to El Porvenir Island, four hijackers forced to crew to change his itinerary and to fly to Turbo, Colombia. The aircraft force landed in a remote airstrip where all four hijackers disembarked and disappeared. All other occupants were injured and the aircraft did not return into service.
Probable cause:
Hijacked.

Circumstances:
The airplane departed Turbo on a flight to Medellín, carrying employees of the Colombian Customs Services (Direccion General de Aduanas). While descending to the altitude of 9,500 feet in marginal weather conditions, the airplane struck the slope of Mt El Boquerón located about 100 km northwest of Medellín Airport. The wreckage was found few hours later and all 20 occupants were killed. At the time of the accident, the mountain was shrouded by clouds.
Probable cause:
The crew was flying under VFR mode in IMC when the airplane struck the mountain. Controlled flight into terrain.

The twin engine aircraft departed Medellín-Enrique Olaya Herrera at 0620LT on a flight to Turbo, carrying three passengers and a pilot. While climbing in clouds, the airplane struck a TVV antenna located on the Alto de Padre Amaya, about 13 km northwest of the airport. The aircraft crashed and all four occupants were killed.

Six minutes after takeoff from Medellín-Enrique Olaya Herrera Airport, the pilot encountered technical problems with the engine. He lost control of the aircraft that crashed in Montegrande, some 30 km north of Medellín. Three passengers were killed while six other occupants were injured. The aircraft was destroyed.
Probable cause:
Engine failure.
