Circumstances:
The twin engine airplane departed Porto Alegre and on a schedule service to São Paulo with intermediate stops in Florianópolis and Curitiba, carrying 10 passengers and four crew members. On approach to São Paulo-Congonhas Airport, the crew was forced to initiate a go around procedure for unknown reasons. While circling in clouds for a second approach to land, the airplane deviated from the prescribed route to the south until it impacted the slope of a mountain located in the Cantareira Mountain Range. The wreckage was found 24 km south of the airport. Six occupants were rescued and eight others were killed, among them both pilots.

Circumstances:
Shortly after its departure from Rio de Janeiro-Santos Dumont Airport, while climbing in clouds to an altitude of some 1,500 feet, the three engine aircraft named 'Cidade de Santos' collided with a De Havilland DH.90 Dragonfly registered LV-KAB and operated by the Shell-Mex Company of Argentina. Its pilot was initiated an approach to the same airport when the collision occurred. Following the collision, both aircraft entered a dive and crashed into the Botafogo Bay, killing all 19 occupants.
Probable cause:
Both crews failed to see and avoid each other due to the poor visibility caused by the presence of clouds at low altitude.

The single engine airplane departed Campo de Marte Airport at 1130LT on a local flight. It crashed in unknown circumstances in the district of Ponte Pequena, in São Paulo. One occupant was killed and the second was injured.

Circumstances:
En route from Corumbá to São Paulo, the crew encountered technical problems and was forced to attempt an emergency landing in a jungle. Three passengers were injured and four other occupants escaped unhurt. The float plane named 'Tocantins' was damaged beyond repair.
