Circumstances:
The crew was performing a meteorological mission (called MERCER) over the Atlantic Ocean and left the RAF Tiree in Scotland during the day. After completing two circuits, the crew was returning to his base and while passing over Ireland, the aircraft was too low by night and hit a cliff near Bundoran, Donegal County. All eight occupants were killed.

Circumstances:
The airplane was on a transatlantic flight from Gander to Prestwick. Approaching the Irish coast, it ran out of fuel. The pilot completed a belly landing on the Tullan Strand located north of Bundoran. All 10 crew members escaped uninjured and the airplane was damaged beyond repair.

Circumstances:
The single engine airplane departed Kildonan Aerodrome in Finglas with one passenger and one pilot on board. In unknown circumstances, the aircraft crashed on the roof of a farm located in Bundoran, Ulster. Both occupants were injured and the aircraft was destroyed.
