Circumstances:
During the takeoff roll at Tenerife-Norte-Los Rodeos Airport, the crew inadvertently raised the landing gear while the aircraft did not liftoff already. Subsequently, the airplane sank on its belly and slid for several yards before coming to rest in flames. While all 91 occupants were evacuated (six of them were injured), the aircraft was totally destroyed by a post crash fire.
Probable cause:
Poor crew coordination during takeoff roll. The crew failed to follow the check-list and the undercarriage were raised prior to takeoff, causing the aircraft to crash.

Circumstances:
The aircraft was completing a flight from El Gouera to Tenerife-Norte-Los Rodeos, carrying 16 civilians and a crew of five. While approaching the airport from the south, the crew encountered poor weather conditions and low visibility when the airplane crashed on a mountain located in La Esperanza, south of the airfield. Four crew members were killed while 17 other occupants were injured.

Circumstances:
On a night approach to Tenerife-Norte-Los Rodeos Airport, the four engine aircraft was too low and struck the ground few km short of runway threshold before crashing onto a house which was destroyed. One person in the house was killed while all occupants on board the aircraft were rescued, among them seven were injured. The aircraft was totally destroyed by a post crash fire. For undetermined reason, the crew was approaching at an insufficient altitude.
