Airport (less than 10 km from airport)

On final approach to Barcelos Airport, the crew encountered poor weather conditions with reduced visibility due to heavy rain falls. On short final, the crew decided to initiate a go around procedure when the airplane apparently stalled and crashed on an embankment located near runway 09/27. The airplane was destroyed and all 14 occupants were killed. All 12 passengers were Brazilian tourists flying to Barcelos to practice sport fishing on the Río Negro. The airplane departed Manaus-Eduardo Gomes Airport on this charter flight approximately two hours prior to the accident.

The approach to Mumbai-Chhatrapati Shivaji Airport was completed in poor weather conditions with reduced visibility due to heavy rain falls. On short final, the airplane was in a nose down attitude and rolling to the right when it impacted the runway surface. It went out of control, veered off runway and came to rest in a grassy area, broken in two. A small fire was quickly extinguished. All eight occupants were injured.

Shortly after takeoff from Besakoa Airfield, the twin engine airplane crashed, bursting into flames. A passenger was killed and four other occupants were injured and evacuated to Antananarivo. The airplane was en route to Moramba.

The pilot, sole on board, departed Tulsa-Richard Lloyd Jones Jr. (Riverside) Airport in the morning on an on-demand special mission. After a pass over Sand Springs, west of Tulsa, the airplane continued to the south then the pilot completed three circuits over McAlester before continuing to the southwest. In unclear circumstances, the airplane caught fire in flight and the pilot diverted to Durant-Eaker Field. After landing on runway 17, the pilot stopped the airplane and was able to evacuate without injuries. The airplane was totally destroyed by fire.

The airplane departed Langkawi Island Airport on a flight to the airport of Subang in Kuala Lumpur, carrying six passengers and a crew of two. On final approach to Kuala Lumpur-Subang-Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport Runway 15, while completing a sharp turn to the right, the airplane entered an uncontrolled descent and crashed on a road located in Elmina, less than 5 km from the runway threshold, bursting into flames. The airplane was totally destroyed and all eight occupants were killed as well as two people on the ground, one motorcyclist and one car driver.

Shortly after departure from Lansing-Capital Region Airport, while climbing, the pilot reported rudder control problems and was cleared for an immediate landing. Shortly later, the airplane impacted the ground and came to rest in a grassy area located near taxiway B. The pilot evacuated safely and the airplane was damaged beyond repair.

Shortly after takeoff from Mosby-Midwest National Air Center Airport, the twin engine airplane collided with high tension cables and crash landed in a soybean field, bursting into flames. The airplane was destroyed by a post crash fire and the pilot, sole on board, was killed.

The crew was completing a local training flight at Chrcynno Aerodrome. After takeoff from a grassy runway, the single engine airplane went out of control and crashed onto a hangar located nearby the control tower. Two pilots were injured while a third was killed as well as five people in the hangar. Weather conditions were considered as marginal at the time of the accident with a thunderstorm passing over the area.

The single engine airplane departed Juba Airport at 1400LT on a cargo flight to Walgak, carrying three passengers and two pilots. While on approach, in unclear circumstances, the crew apparently attempted to gain height when the airplane impacted a tree and crashed in an open field. All five occupants were injured and the airplane was damaged beyond repair.

After touchdown on runway 05 at Mogadishu-Aden Adde Airport, the crew started the braking procedure. Following a course of few hundred metres, the twin engine airplane deviated to the left and veered off runway. While contacting soft ground, it pivoted to the left at almost 180° until it crashed against a concrete wall, coming to rest broken in two. All 34 occupants were rescued, among them two passengers were injured.
