The twin engine airplane departed Wiener Neustadt Airport on a training sortie. En route, it collided with the slope of Mt Ötscher and was destroyed. All three crew members were killed.

Circumstances:
The crew was completing a local training mission out of Wiener Neustadt Airport. Shortly after takeoff, while climbing, the single engine aircraft went out of control and spiraled to the ground. Both pilots Max Kandler and Josef Malburg were killed.

Circumstances:
En route from Croydon to Vienna, the crew encountered marginal weather with severe icing conditions. The situation became critical so the captain decided to reduce his altitude and to attempt an emergency landing. The airplane crash landed in an open field located near Zwettl, some 80 km northwest of Vienna. All occupants evacuated safely and the aircraft named 'Draco' was damaged beyond repair.
