Junkers JU.88

The airplane departed Amsterdam-Schiphol Airport on a reconnaissance mission. It was shot down by a British fighter and crashed into the sea 20 km west of Terschelling. All four crew members were killed.

The airplane departed Creil on an operation to England. It crashed in unknown circumstances into the sea some 50 km south of Worthing. All four crew members were killed.

While on a reconnaissance mission out from Trondheim, the airplane crashed in unknown circumstances in Reykjavik and was destroyed. Three crew members were killed and one parachuted to safety and became PoW.

The airplane departed Tutow Airfield on a delivery flight to Finland. Passing over Latvia, it suffered an engine failure and crashed in a wooded area located 1,5 km southwest of the village of Pabaži (coordinates 57° 13' 28.11" N - 24° 23' 23.59" E). All four occupants were killed. The airplane was part of a contingent of 24 Junkers JU.88 recently purchased by the Finnish Air Force to Germany.

The airplane crashed in unknown circumstances into the sea, probably off Bergen aan Zee. Lost without trace.

The airplane departed Deelen AFB on an operation to London. It was shot down by enemy fire and crashed into the North Sea some 25 km off Westkapelle. All four crew members were killed.

The airplane departed San Damiano AFB, Piacenza, on a supply flight to Bizerte, carrying four crew members and a load of fuel. On approach to Bizerte-Sidi Ahmed AFB, it collided with a Luftwaffe Bf.109 and crashed, bursting into flames. All four crew members were killed.

The airplane departed Deelen AFB on an operation to Edinburgh. Over the target area, the crew encountered poor visibility and was unable to locate the target area. While cruising southwest of the city, the airplane impacted the slope of Hare Hill near Silverburn. All four crew members were killed.
