Holme-on-Spalding-Moor AFB

The airplane departed RAF Holme-on-Spalding-Moor at 1717LT on November 15 on an operation to Emden. It failed to return to base and is believed to have crashed somewhere in the North Sea. Lost without trace.

The airplane departed RAF Holme-on-Spalding-Moor at 1830LT on an operation to Le Havre. It was hit by the German Flak and subsequently the crew were ordered to bail out. Five did so, landing in the vicinity of Aldershot. Two crew members were injured and a third was killed as he remained on board.

The airplane departed RAF Holme-on-Spalding-Moor at 1839LT on an operation to Antwerp. Approaching Charleroi, it crashed west of the city, in Marchienne-au-Pont. Five crew members were killed and a sixth became PoW.
