Circumstances:
Following a night takeoff from Fez Airport, while climbing, the airplane entered an uncontrolled descent and crashed, bursting into flames. All eight occupants were killed. At the time of the accident, the airplane was en route to England via Gibraltar.

Probable cause:
It is believed that the aircraft was shot down by the French Flak or was deliberately sabotaged to avoid any defection from French troops.

Circumstances:
The pilot Alphonse Gensollen was performing a flight between France and Argentina. While cruising in the region of Fez, he encountered low visibility due to foggy conditions. He reduced his altitude to maintain a visual contact with the ground when the aircraft collided with trees and crashed on a hill. The pilot was killed.
