The pilot, sole on board, was engaged in an aerial photography mission. In flight, he encountered engine problems and was forced to attempt an emergency landing. The aircraft crashed onto a barn located in Novoshchedrinskaya, about 15 km north of Gudermes. The pilot and three people in the barn were injured.

Following an uneventful flight from Moscow, the crew completed the approach to Grozny in poor weather conditions. The aircraft landed nose first, causing it to be torn off. The aircraft slid on the ground for few dozen metres before coming to rest. All 172 occupants evacuated safely while the aircraft was written off.

From May 28 till May 31, the airplane was dispatched in Kalinovskaya for spraying missions on behalf of the Lenin's kolkhoz. While parked, a technician decided to takeoff and to make a local tour. Shortly after takeoff, while flying at a height of 500 meters, he lost control of the airplane that descended by at an angle of 60° and crashed in flames in an open field. The sole occupant was killed.
Probable cause:
The technician was not intoxicated and the assumption that the accident was the consequence of suicide was not ruled out.

After take off from Makhachkala, the visibility was poor and the crew was following the railway track up to Grozny. But the pilot lost his orientation when the aircraft hit the slope of Mt Terski located near Gudermes. All five occupants were killed. At the time of the accident, weather conditions were below minima.

At the end of the afternoon, before returning to Grozny, the pilot invited three farmers for a tour. After takeoff, at a height of 35 metres, the pilot initiated a sharp turn to the left when the airplane stalled and crashed 25 metres from the railway station, bursting into flames. The aircraft was destroyed by a post crash fire and all four occupants were killed.
Probable cause:
The airplane stalled during a sharp turn to the left due to an insufficient speed. The pilot was not allowed to perform such private flight.

Circumstances:
The aircraft was on its way from Tbilisi to Moscow for maintenance purposes. The crew made a technical stop in Baku then continued to Grozny. On approach to Grozny, the crew encountered poor visibility due to foggy conditions. After 15-20 in such conditions, ice started to accumulate on the aircraft and several instruments such as the horizon, the gyrocompas and the speed indicator failed. The crew attempted an emergency landing when the aircraft crashed in an open field located about 30 km northwest of Grozny. The aircraft was destroyed and both occupants were seriously injured. The mechanic died from his injuries two days later.
Probable cause:
Controlled flight into terrain while cruising in fogy conditions. It was determined that the crew departed Baku Airport without any weather bulletin for Grozny.
