Circumstances:
On approach to Barquisimeto Airport, the crew encountered foggy conditions with limited visibility. On short final, the airplane descended below the glide until it struck the ground 1,015 meters short of runway threshold. On impact, the undercarriages were torn off and the airplane slid on its belly until it came to rest on the runway threshold, broken in two. A crew member and 22 passengers were killed while 27 other occupants were injured.
Probable cause:
Wrong approach configuration on part of the crew who led the aircraft passing below the glide until impact with the ground. The following contributing factors were reported:
- Failure of the crew to initiate a go-around,
- Improper in-flight decisions,
- Inadequate supervision of the flight,
- Lack of visibility due to fog.

Circumstances:
The aircraft was approaching Charallave-Óscar Machado Zuloaga Airport on a flight from Barquisimeto when it collided with a Mitsubishi MU-2B-36A Marquise registered YV-174CP and operated by Immobiliara Uracoa. En route to Puerto Cabello, the Marquise was carrying five people and just took off from the same airport. Following the collision, both aircraft dove into the ground and crashed few km from the airport. All 10 people in both aircraft were killed.

Circumstances:
Upon landing, the right main gear partially collapsed and punctured the right wing. The airplane came to rest and was damaged beyond repair. There were no casualties.

Circumstances:
While descending to Barquisimeto Airfield, an engine caught fire. As the crew was unable to extinguish the fire, he decided to make an emergency landing on a road leading to the airport. After touchdown, the airplane rolled for few yards before coming to rest in flames. All occupants were able to evacuate the cabin and were unhurt while the twin engine aircraft was destroyed by fire.
Probable cause:
Engine fire.

Probable cause:
Authorities confirmed that the landing attempt was not possible due to poor weather conditions.
