Circumstances:
The single engine airplane departed Rottweil-Zepfenhan Airport at 1056LT on a private flight to Lugano, carrying one passenger and one pilot. While climbing at FL070 in IMC, the fuel filter bypass warning light illuminated in the cockpit panel, but it went out again shortly thereafter. Approximately one minute after this indicator illuminated, the engine lost power. The aircraft began to descend and the pilot attempted to restart the engine twice. He initially intended to fly back to Rottweil Airport. However, as neither this airport nor Donaueschingen-Villingen Airport could be reached at the current altitude, he decided to attempt an emergency landing in an open field. He considered Schwenningen Airport too dangerous due to the forest, the buildings and the short runway. The airplane landed gear down in a field located in Dauchingen, about 15 km southwest of Rottweil Airport. After touchdown, the airplane struck irregularities on the ground, causing the undercarriage to be torn off. The airplane came to rest on a path with its both wings partially sheared off. Both occupants escaped with minor injuries.
Probable cause:
Inspection of the fuel system revealed that the fuel filter was heavily clogged with a brown-black substance. When attempting to drain this filter before removing it, no liquid flowed out. Heavy contamination was also found in the sump tank. Only a small amount of fuel was found at the bottom of the sump tank.

Circumstances:
The airplane departed Egelsbach Airport at 1743LT on a charter flight to Friedrichshafen, carrying one passenger and two pilots. Following an uneventful flight at FL210, the crew contacted Zurich ARTCC and was cleared to start the descent and later told to expect a runway 24 ILS approach to Friedrichshafen-Bodensee Airport. After passing 4,000 feet on descent, at a speed of 240 knots, the crew was completing a last turn in clouds when the airplane entered a rapid and uncontrolled descent until it crashed in a wooded area located in Sieberatsreute, some 15 km short of runway 24. The airplane disintegrated on impact and all three occupants were killed.
Probable cause:
The aircraft accident was caused by a sudden loss of control of the aircraft in clouds while turning in for the approach to Friedrichshafen at night. Probably the frontal weather with light to moderate turbulence, snowfall and icing contributed to this. The absence of information about the events on board the aircraft meant that it was not possible to determine the causes of the loss of control.

Circumstances:
The single engine airplane departed Zurich Airport Runway 28 at 1134LT bound for Hamburg-Helmut Schmidt Airport, carrying one passenger and one pilot. After passing over the city of Konstanz at an altitude of 16,750 feet in IFR conditions, the airplane entered an uncontrolled descent and eventually crashed in the Konstanz Lake, about 200 metres off Mainau Island. The wreckage was found at a depth of 60 metres and both occupants were killed.
Probable cause:
Loss of control while cruising in IMC conditions with strong atmospheric turbulences associated with icing conditions.
