Circumstances:
The aircraft departed Sebha Airport, Libya, at 0250LT on a humanitarian mission to N'Djamena, carrying six crew members and a load of food aid on behalf of the Libyan Government. Upon arrival, by night, the crew informed ATC about technical problem and follow a holding pattern. Few minutes later, the aircraft entered an uncontrolled descent and crashed in a vegetable plantation located near Kousséri, Cameroon. All six occupants were killed and the aircraft was totally destroyed upon impact.

Circumstances:
On final approach to Sebha Airport in limited visibility, the airplane impacted the ground and crashed 13 km south of the airport. A passenger seating on a truck bed survived while all 46 other occupants were killed including all 10 crew members.

Probable cause:
It is believed that the accident was the consequence of a wrong altimeter setting.

Circumstances:
The airplane was engaged in an evacuation of people from Aozou (North Chad) to Sebha. This was decided by the Libyan Government after Chadian insurgents recaptured the Aozou strip. The exact circumstances of the accident remains uncertain and it is believed that the airplane crashed upon landing at Sebha Airport and was damaged beyond repair. There were no fatalities.

During the takeoff roll at Sebha Airport, about V1 speed, the captain decided to abandon the takeoff procedure and initiated an emergency braking manoeuvre. Unable to stop within the remaining distance, the aircraft overran and came to rest, bursting into flames. All occupants escaped uninjured while the aircraft was damaged beyond repair.

Circumstances:
After takeoff from Sebha Airport, while climbing, one of the engine caught fire. The crew lost control of the airplane that crashed in a desert area located about 30 km north of the airfield, bursting into flames. All five occupants were killed.
Probable cause:
It was determined that a fuel line ruptured during initial climb, causing the fuel to leak into the engine and to ignite while in contact with high temperature elements.
