Circumstances:
The airplane departed Guangzhou (Canton) Airport on a flight to Haikou, Hainan Island, carrying six high ranking officers of the Imperial Japanese Navy performing an inspection of the Japanese troops in the occupied South China and three crew members. While flying about 100 km south of Guangzhou, the airplane was shot down by enemy fire and crashed in Huangyangshan, on the west bank of the Xijiang River. All nine occupants were killed, among them Admiral Mineo Ōsumi, ex Marine Minister.

Circumstances:
En route from Naha to Taipei, the crew encountered an unexpected situation and made an emergency landing on Uotsuri Island, in the Pacific. All 13 occupants were rescued the following day.

While cruising over the East China Sea, the crew encountered technical problems with an engine. The pilot elected to divert to Naha but eventually ditched the airplane off Kuba Island, Okinawa. Two passengers were rescued while 10 others occupants were killed. The aircraft named 'Fuji' was lost.
