The airplane departed RAF Honington at 2307LT on April 28 on an operation to Kiel. It was shot down by a German fighter and crashed in Holbøl, killing the entire crew.

The airplane departed RAF Coningsby at 2200LT on April 23 on an operation to Rostock, Germany. While overflying Denmark at night, an engine overheated and exploded. The captain ordered his crew to bail out and elected to make an emergency landing. Eventually, he lost control of the aircraft that crashed in a huge explosion in a field located in Visgaarde, some 3 km east of Tinglev. The pilot was killed while all other occupants became PoW.

For unknown reasons, the pilot was forced to attempt an emergency landing. The airplane crash landed 4 km north of Blåvandshuk, bursting into flames. All four crew members escaped uninjured and the airplane was destroyed by a post crash fire.

The airplane departed RAF Lindholme at 1900LT on an operation to Kiel. It was shot down by a Me.110 and crashed in Tønder, south Denmark, near the German border. All six crew members were killed.

The airplane departed RAF Binbrook at 2330LT on February 25 on an operation to Kiel. About 0300LT, the crew reported serious problems with the right engine that propeller should be feathered. Eventually, the airplane was abandoned and crashed in Holluf, in the suburb of Odense. All six crew members became PoW.

With the starboard engine on fire, the crew evacuated the area bound for Sweden. Eventually, the crew bailed out and abandoned the airplane that crashed in Hostrup, south Denmark. All four crew members became PoW.
