Circumstances:
The crew was returning to his base following an operation against Soviet ships when the airplane ran out of fuel. The crew abandoned the airplane and bailed out. All four crew members were uninjured and the airplane crash landed on Mt Gárdevárri.
Probable cause:
Fuel exhaustion.

Circumstances:
The airplane departed Banak Airfield on an operation over Murmansk. Over the target area, it was hit by enemy fire but the crew was able to return to base. On final approach at night, the airplane impacted the ground and crashed. All four crew members were killed.

Circumstances:
While returning to base following a maritime patrol flight, the crew encountered poor weather conditions with heavy snow falls. In limited visibility, the floatplane impacted the slope of a mountain located near Båtsfjord, bursting into flames. Two crew members were killed, two others were injured and a fifth escaped unhurt.
