Circumstances:
The crew departed Saskatoon Airport on an instrument dual training flight. En route, the twin engine airplane entered a dive almost vertically and crashed into the ground some 2 km east of Warman, bursting into flames. All three crew members were killed.

Circumstances:
The crew departed Saskatoon Airport on a local dual instruction exercise. En route, the crew encountered poor weather conditions. In severe thunderstorm activity, both occupants bailed out and abandoned the airplane that crashed in an open field located in Warman, some 18 km northeast of Saskatoon Airport. Both pilots were uninjured.

The pilot Theodore Helps, sole on board, was performing a training flight out from Saskatoon Airport. Over the area of Warman, while performing a loop, a wing strut failed. The aircraft went out of control, entered a dive and crashed in an open field. The pilot was killed.

Loss of control following a wing strut failure.
