IJsselmeer

The airplane departed RAF Binbrook at 2230LT to attack the docks at Emden, Germany. While passing over the Netherlands at night, it was shot down by the pilot of a Me.110 and crashed in the IJsselmeer. All six crew members were killed.

The airplane departed Delmenhorst to bomb the airport of Amsterdam-Schiphol. While cruising at night, the airplane was shot down by Flak and crashed into the Ijsselmeer. All four crew members were killed.
