Circumstances:
While cruising at an altitude of 11,000 feet in poor weather conditions, the aircraft hit the slope of Mt Cofre de Perote located southeast of Perote, State of Veracruz. The aircraft disintegrated on impact and all 15 occupants were killed.

Circumstances:
Enroute, the pilot encountered technical problems with the engine and elected to return to Jalapa Enríquez Airport. Eventually, he was forced to attempt an emergency landing when the aircraft stalled and crashed in a prairie located in Huatusco. All nine occupants were killed.
Probable cause:
Engine failure.
