Circumstances:
The airplane departed RAF Binbrook at 2316LT on July 8 on an operation to Cologne. It was badly damaged by the German Flak and subsequently crash landed at 0345LT at RAF Hawkinge with its wheels still retracted. No injuries reported among the crew.
