Circumstances:
Brakes failed during taxiing. Control was lost and the airplane collided with blast pen and was damaged beyond repair. There were no casualties.
Probable cause:
Failure of the brake system during taxiing.

Circumstances:
The airplane departed RAF Feni on an operation against Japanese positions in the Chin Hills. It was shot down by enemy fire, lost its right propeller and crashed some 42 km east-northeast of Hakha. All three crew members were killed.
