Circumstances:
The crew was completing a local training exercise at RAF Bicester on behalf of 13th OTU. Because the undercarriage could not be lowered, the airplane belly landed and was damaged beyond repair. Both pilots escaped uninjured.

The undercarriage could not be lowered.
