Circumstances:
The crew was performing a local training flight at RAF Finmere. The goal of the flight was to show the effect of taking off in coarse pitch. During the takeoff roll, one of the engine failed. The instructor pilot retracted the undercarriage in order to remain within the confines of the airfield. Both crew escaped uninjured while the airplane was damaged beyond repair.
