The airplane departed RAF Bourn at 2355LT on April 15 on an operation to Dortmund. It crashed in unknown circumstances in an open field located in Lutrebois, killing the entire crew.

The twin engine aircraft was involved in a bombing mission over England and departed Chièvres AFB that day. In unknown circumstances, the aircraft went out of control and crashed some 400 metres from the Florenville Station. All six crew members were killed.

While on a reconnaissance mission over La Capelle, the aircraft crashed in unknown circumstances in Ochamps. A crewman was killed and four others became PoW.
