Ringkøbing

The airplane departed RAF Lakenheath at 2203LT on April 20 on an operation to Rostock. While returning to base the following night and passing over Denmark, it was shot down by a German fighter and crashed into the sea off Ringkøbing. All eight crew members were killed.
