Circumstances:
The airplane departed RAF Binbrook at 2310LT on June 12 on an operation to Bochum. Passing over the Netherlands, it was shot down by a German fighter and crashed in Grafhorst, 3 km northeast of Kampen. Six crew members were killed and one became PoW.
