Circumstances:
The airplane departed RAF Langar at 1729LT on an operation to Essen. Approaching the target area from the north in poor weather conditions, the airplane was shot down by the German Flak and crashed in Feldhausen, 17 km north of Essen. All seven crew members were killed.
