Circumstances:
The airplane departed RAF Warboys at 2226LT on April 4 on an operation to Dortmund. While returning to base the following night, the crew encountered poor visibility. While low on fuel, the airplane was abandoned by the crew and crashed in Chatteris. All occupants parachuted to safety, among them two were injured.

Circumstances:
The airplane departed RAF Wyton on a training flight to RAF Upwood. En route, the crew lost control of the airplane that entered a dive and crashed near Chatteris. All three crew members were killed.
