Circumstances:
While flying in poor weather conditions, the twin engine airplane struck the slope of a mountain located near Grande-Rivière-du-Nord. The aircraft was destroyed upon impact and all nine occupants were killed. Visibility was poor due to low ceiling.
Probable cause:
Controlled flight into terrain.

Circumstances:
En route from Cockburn Harbour to Cockburn Town, the copilot declared an emergency after an engine failed in flight. The airplane lost height and crashed into the sea off Turks and Caicos Islands. All 10 occupants were killed.

Engine failure for undetermined reasons.
