Circumstances:
The airplane was taking part to a paratroopers mission on part of the conflict between Hungary and Yugoslavia troops. Shortly after take off from Veszprém-Jutas Airfield, while climbing, the three engine aircraft stalled and crashed near the airport. All 30 occupants were killed.

Circumstances:
Some 30 minutes after takeoff from Catania-Fontanarossa Airport, the right engine caught fire, forcing the crew to return to Catania. After landing, the airplane went out of control, veered off runway and collided with two parked Junkers JU.88. Several explosions occurred and the SM.75C was destroyed by fire. Nevertheless, all 17 occupants evacuated safely and there were no injuries.
Probable cause:
Engine fire in flight.

Circumstances:
The three engine airplane was on its way from Rio de Janeiro to Rome with intermediate stops in Natal, Sal and Seville. It departed Natal Airport at 0800LT on the leg to Sal, Cape Verde, carrying a crew of four, six passengers and the diplomatic mail. At 1125LT, while overflying the Atlantic Ocean, the crew reported technical problems with the central engine that had to be shut down. At 1146LT, the crew sent a mayday message and 10 minutes later, he informed ATC that the situation on board was difficult. Less than 10 minutes later, the aircraft went out of control and crashed into the sea. Important SAR operations were conducted on an area located some 185 km off the island of Fernando de Noronha. All operations were eventually suspended on January 22 as no trace of the aircraft nor the 10 occupants was found. The technical Director of LATI was among the occupants.

En route from Catania to Rome, the three engine aircraft was shot down by the pilot of a RAF fighter and crashed in the sea some 40 nautical miles southwest of Capri Island. All seven occupants were killed.

Shot down by a RAF fighter.

Shortly after takeoff, while in initial climb, the three engine aircraft nosed up, stalled and crashed on the runway, bursting into flames. All eight occupants were killed. The airplane was on its way back to Italy on behalf of the Italian Air Force (Aeronautica Militare Italiane).
Probable cause:
On rotation, the cargo shifted to the rear, modifying the center of gravity and unbalancing the aircraft that went out of control and crashed.

On the leg from Catania to Brindisi, while cruising in bad weather conditions, the pilot informed ATC he was encountering severe icing conditions. In fog and low overcast, the aircraft impacted the slope of a mountain located in Aiello Calabro, southwest of Cosenza. All 10 occupants were killed.

Controlled flight into terrain. It it believed that the aircraft drifted off course due to strong winds, and the crew was unable to the faulty heading due to poor visibility.
