Circumstances:
Shortly after takeoff from Gagetown Helipad, the single engine airplane crashed for unknown reasons. Five occupants were injured and the pilot Lt Ronald Edward Ehrne was killed. The airplane was returning to base at Montreal-Saint-Hubert following training exercises.
