Circumstances:
The airplane departed RAF Foulsham at 1630LT to bomb shipping facilities in Vlissingen. It was hit by the German Flak and later ditched off the East Anglia coast, between Clacton-on-Sea and Felixstowe. A crew was killed and two others were injured.
