Circumstances:
The airplane departed RAF Breighton at 2202LT on an operation to the Peugeot factory based in Montbéliard (Sochaux). Due to a faulty airspeed indicator, the pilot tried to abort the takeoff procedure but he was unable to prevent the airplane from crashing beyond the perimeter fence, ending up in a potato field. All seven crew members escaped unhurt.
