Circumstances:
The pilot, sole on board, was performing a test flight in Ottawa. In flight, both wings failed, detached and crashed in a street in Dunrobin, west of Ottawa. Out of control, the airplane dove into the ground and crashed in a wooded area. The pilot was killed.

Probable cause:
During high speed stability tests, both wings failed from severe negative loading, torsional flutter and high aerodynamic stresses and broke of the aircraft.
